Delaware OTS – First Friday – February 1st, 2013!

Chocolate Walk 2013 First Friday, February 1, 2013 from 6-9pm

Our Town Studios Delaware will be participating in Main Street Delaware’s Chocolate Walk!  A tasty experience you won’t want to miss.  With your $15 ticket you will visit approximately 25 businesses and receive a treat at each one.  Each business thoughtfully prepares a chocolate treat for you to experience their business in a unique, yummy way.  The tour begins at 20 E. Winter Street where you will receive your tour map and a goody bag for toting your chocolate, that which you don’t eat right way, that is!  Your tour is self guided and lasts for 3 hours.  Tour starts at 6pm on February First Friday, February 1, 2013. Ticket Sales begin January 4, 2013 at 6pm at Beehive Books- 25 N. Sandusky Street, Button Up- 29 N. Sandusky Street, Carousel Closet- 24 N. Sandusky Street and Fundamentals- 25 W. Winter Street.  Tickets are on sale online NOW!

Food For the Hungry

Mt. Vernon, Our Town Studios was proud to be a part of Food for the Hungry again this year.  OTS donated 3 paintings that were put up for Silent Auction this last Saturday at City Hall.   We raised $87 dollars to go towards Food for the Hungry.

Christmas Parade and Walk 2011

Mt. Vernon, Ohio – Our Town Studios was open again this year for the Christmas Parade and Walk.   OTS was also “Santas Workshop” a place the kids could come before and after the parade to do Art and have fun.  For the Parents there was plenty of Coffee and Hot Chocalate to be found.   Thanks to Janet, Tom, Brandon, Chris, Steve, and David for being there to help out and make it a great event.

PWSA Camp this weekend

This weekend staff from Our Town Studios will be volunteering at Recreation Unlimited in Ashley, Ohio for the Prader Willi Syndrome Fall Camp.  Steve, Michael, Justin, Brandon, Janet, and Alex will all be attending.   This is a great camp with canoeing, campfires, archery, a wall climbing activity, and much, much, more.   We are excited to be a part of this great event.         http://pwsaohio.org/

Halloween Party in Knox ADS. Oct 7th, 2011

Our Town Studios concluded the First Friday season with a Halloween Party.  Many people attended, and there were some great costumes.  Mark Henwood was voted Best Costume as Captain America.  The night was enjoyed with Dancing, and Karaokee.  First Fridays will come back next May.

Our Town Studios Bowling League concludes will Grand Celebration!

               On Aug 16th, 2011 Our Town Studios from Knox and Delaware concluded thier Summer Bowling League with the 1st Annual Awards Ceremony.  The festivities took palce at Centerburg Church of Christ in Centerburg.   Every Individual enjoyed themselves and were awarded their 2011 Trophy.     High Scores for the League for Awarded to Kyle C, and Frank H.   The teams with the hightest overall score were the Iron Fists with Kyle, Mark, Paul, and Scott and The 12 Dance Parties with Kristy, Dan, Joshua, and Jan. The day concluded with great Karaoke and cake and punch.
